Day Trip Cancellation Policy (group)

Cancellation by the customer

No refund possible. If the place of someone is taken by another person, there will be no extra fee (if the lift ticket is in the same age category). No notice is required for replacement. This policy is valid unless a specific policy is establish for the group.

General Conditions

As a client, I release Express Tours from any liability for:

any loss, theft, or damage to property;
any bodily injury occurring during an excursion or a stay with accommodation;
any mechanical breakdown of buses;
any delay caused by weather conditions;
any closure or interruption of ski lifts;
any delay at customs.

Although Express Tours carefully selects its suppliers, no trip is immune to unforeseen events. Whether it involves lost baggage, accidents, adverse weather conditions, transportation cancellations, illness contracted while traveling, states of emergency, or road closures, Express Tours cannot be held responsible for events beyond its control or force majeure, nor for any resulting damages. Such damages may include, but are not limited to, loss of time, loss of enjoyment, inconvenience, frustration, additional expenses, loss of wages, or quarantine.

Credit Card Payment
Authorizing Express Tours to use your credit card number for full payment constitutes acceptance of these booking conditions. For your security, all online transactions are protected through Visa Desjardins’ secure servers. Only one credit card per invoice is accepted through the website. To use more than one card for the same invoice, the transaction must be completed by phone with an Express Tours reservation agent. A fee of $50 + tax applies for each additional credit card used for the same invoice.

Prices
All prices are in Canadian dollars. In accordance with the laws of the Office de la protection du consommateur, the price of a trip already sold may be increased in the following cases:

fuel surcharge imposed by the carrier;
exchange rate fluctuation greater than 5% between the purchase date and the 45th day before departure.

If the price increases by 7% or more (before taxes), the client may:

cancel and obtain a full refund;
accept another trip of equal or higher value (with price adjustment);
accept a trip of lesser value (with refund of the difference).

An increase in sales taxes (GST or QST) may result in higher prices, as taxes are included in the displayed rates. No price changes are permitted within 30 days of departure. Discounts and promotions apply only to new bookings. Prices on the website are subject to change without notice. Express Tours is a division of Voyages S.K.I.E.R. International Inc., a licensed Québec travel agency.

Unused Services
No refund will be issued for booked services that are not used. These services cannot be applied to a later date. The same applies if the client:

does not show up for bus departure;
arrives after the scheduled departure time.

Website
All images displayed on the website are for reference only. Express Tours is not responsible for the accuracy of images provided by suppliers.

Express Tours reserves the right to modify its general terms and conditions and its online sales conditions at any time.

Overnight Trip Cancellation Policy (group)

Cancellation by the customer

This policy will apply if no other specific policy for the group is establish.

• 45 days or more before departure date: 20% of the total cost of the package will be held back as reservation.

• 44 days or less before the departure date: no refund

To cancel, you must contact the person in charge of the group. Be sure to have your invoice and confirmation number in hand.

We will provide a refund if a trip must be cancelled due to lack of participants.

In some cases, this information may be shared with trusted partners of Express Tours to ensure the provision of travel services. Only the service providers involved in your trip will receive this information, and only if they need it to ensure the smooth running of your trip. We do not share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes without your consent.

Also, it is important to know that Express Tours is not responsible for the use and communication of personal information that you provide yourself to third parties involved in your trip, during or after your trip.
