Cancellation policy for a day trip
Express Tours General cancellation policy for a day trip:

No refund
If the trip is taken by another person: no fee (if the lift ticket is in the same age category). No notice is required for replacement. Unless a specific policy is establish for the group.

Cancellation policy for overnight trips (groups)
CANCELLATION POLICY for an overnight trip (by car or coach) with lodging
This policy will apply if no other specific policy for the group is establish

•  50$ fee will be charged for a person switch (if the lift ticket is in the same age category) unless specified in the group specific policies
•    45 days or more before the departure date: 20% of the total cost of the package will be held back as reservation, unless specified in the group specific policies
•    44 days or less before the departure date: no refund

Your package’s cancellation policy may differ. If this is the case, the policy specific to your package will take precedence.
To cancel, you must contact the person in charge of the group. Be sure to have your invoice and confirmation number in hand.
We will provide a refund if a trip must be cancelled due to lack of participants.

Express Tours COVID-19 policy

Express Tours engagement
Our agency is committed to respecting and enforcing all measures and instructions issued by the Institut national de la santé publique du Québec, which are part of our COVID-19 response plan. The service providers used in our packages and/or excursions must also comply with the health measures. It is our responsibility to ensure that service providers are open at the time of the client’s travel, that travel is authorized from the region of departure and that access to the region of destination is authorized. The agency reserves the right to modify the packages in the event of the closure, the non-reopening of service providers included initially, or the closure of the regions by offering customers equivalent solutions.
 
BY COMPLETING MY EXPRESS TOURS BOOKING, I ACKNOWLEDGE that I, and all those affected by such booking, are aware that:
 
-COVID-19 is globally active, with associated health risks and restrictions that, without warning, could lead to significant disruptions, cancellations and changes to travel arrangements in the event of a disease outbreak, sudden regional closures, quarantine and containment orders, government notifications to travellers, and consequences that cannot be reasonably foreseen at this time;
-It is our responsibility to ensure that we are fit to travel at the time of departure (Symptom Self-Assessment Tool).
 
Unauthorized travel (government mesures and restrictions)
If government measures prohibit interregional travel and, as a result, you are unable to travel to your destination, we will reimburse you 90% of the costs incurred. This does not include a personal situation related to your health or that of a loved one.
 
Travel insurance
Express Tours strongly recommends that customers take out travel insurance before departure or, if necessary, check their personal insurance coverage. Manulife offers cancellation, interruption and medical insurance that can be obtained directly from Express Tours. If you have your own cancellation, interruption and/or medical insurance, we suggest that you confirm the extent of your coverage in regards to Covid-19  related medical and other issues. It is your duty to ensure that you have proper coverage. 

Manulife also offers a Premium Protection plan allowing you to cancel a trip for any reasons up to 24h prior to departure (no questions asked) and covering up to 80% of the amount insured. If you want this protection, you must suscribe  within 72 hours of the purchase of the trip. You can suscribe directly through our exclusive Manulife web-portal by clicking on the green box below!

General conditions

AS A CUSTOMER, I RELEASE EXPRESS TOURS FROM THE FOLLOWING RESPONSIBILITIES:
Any loss, theft, damage to property or bodily injury occurring during a day or overnight trip, mechanical breakdown of buses, delay due to bad weather, stopping or closing of the ski lifts and delay to customs.
Although Express Tours carefully chooses its suppliers, no one is immune to a problem while travelling. These include loss of luggage, accident, weather conditions, cancellation of transport, travel-acquired illness, state of emergency, pandemic, closure of areas for health reasons, Express Tours cannot be held responsible for events beyond its control or for force majeure and for damage related to them.
Damage may include loss of time, loss of enjoyment, inconvenience, frustration, additional expenses, loss of salary and quarantine.
 
Travel Insurance
Taking the necessary precautions before leaving is clever. Express Tours strongly recommends that customers take out travel insurance before departure or, if necessary, check their personal insurance coverage. Credit card
Payment indicates that you accept our booking conditions when you authorize us to use your credit card number for a total payment.
The website’s billing system accepts only one credit card per invoice. If you wish to use more than one credit card to make your payment for the same bill, the transaction must be done by telephone with one of our booking agents. A fee of $25 + taxes will be charged for each credit card used on the same invoice.
 
Price
All prices shown are in Canadian dollars.
In accordance with the laws of the Office de la protection du consommateur, Express Tours may increase the price of a trip already sold to a customer in the event of fuel overload by the carrier or a change in the exchange rate. For the price of the trip to be affected by an increase in the exchange rate, the exchange rate must have increased by more than 5% between the date of purchase of the trip and the 45th day before departure. As soon as the price of the trip increases by at least 7% (before taxes), the customer can decide to cancel his trip and be reimbursed. Alternatively, they may accept another trip as an alternative, paying for excess charges or being reimbursed for excess charges. The increase in GST or QST sales taxes could result in an increase in the rates displayed on all mediums for stays since these include taxes. No price change is permitted within 30 days prior to the departure date.
Any discount on a trip resulting from a promotion or an Express Tours decision applies to new bookings only.
Prices posted on the website are subject to change without notice.
Express Tours is a division of Voyages S.K.I.E.R. International Inc., a legal travel agency with a Quebec permit.
 
Services not used
No refund will be made by Express Tours for services reserved and not used by the customer. It is also not possible to use these services at a later date. The same principle applies for a bus departure when the customer does not show up (no show) or shows up at the point of boarding after the bus departure.
